Where did the name, Verum Cutis Dermatology, come from?

The name translates to True Skin in Latin. Throughout my career as a dermatologist, I feel that patients most often seem to seek assistance to get their skin back to their own true baseline of health or to improve the health and appearance of their skin to the best true state possible. The underlying root language of most medical terminology is Latin and it seemed quite fitting to tribute the language in combination with patient desires to match my goals for patient care.
